Kasperi Sarikoski (born in 1988) is a trombonist and composer from Helsinki, Finland. Having worked professionally for about a decade, Kasperi’s career has encompassed a broad array of musical ventures. He has performed with most of Finland’s leading jazz musicians and is currently the lead trombonist of the reputable UMO Jazz Orchestra as well as the hugely successful Ricky-Tick Big Band. He is also a member of the Stockholm Jazz Orchestra, a big band comprised of Sweden’s top jazz musicians. In addition to his work as a sideman Kasperi leads his own group Nuance. The five-piece band has toured Finland and performed at domestic jazz festivals. It's debut album Essence was released in 2015 and was received well by the critics and public alike.
